There are two ways to entry into a human family. You are either born biologically into the family or by become a member of a family by means of adoption. The message of the Good News of Jesus dying and rising from the dead employs both of these terms to describe the highest purpose of the Gospel. Galatians 3:26-4:7 focuses on the fulfilment of the promise made to Abraham, which was made good in Jesus… our sonship in God’s family by adoption. This is the high point of the Galatian’s letter.
