In John 14:6 we read, “Jesus said, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me”. Like the other ‘I AM’ statements Jesus made, these words are absurd if He is an ordinary man. But even more, to believe and preach publicly that Jesus is the only way to God, is highly offensive in a society that legislates that only inclusivism and tolerance are absolute.
