As a Church family, we will be celebrating our annual ‘Above & Beyond’ giving day on Sunday, 19th October 2025. The Elders and staff have together identified four areas for support this year, and it is our belief that improvement in these areas will continue to help the people of HumeRidge know, grow, show and share the grace and truth of Jesus.

As you may know, the roof of our main building has sustained significant damage over the years, and we are now in the process of planning for a full replacement.
Alongside this, we’ll need to install new air-conditioning in both the chapel and the hall—ensuring that our church spaces remain safe, comfortable, and welcoming for everyone who gathers here.
Your Above & Beyond giving will help us prepare for this essential infrastructure project, serving our church family and community groups well into the future.
In 2023, you gave generously to help develop new resources for the Christianity Explained ministry. Since then, so much has happened. We’ve launched a brand new Leaders Guide, a six-part video series, a Kids Christianity Explained version for two different age groups, a Youth edition, a Bible Study workbook, and a set of short Bible lessons airing on 92.9FM. We’ve also created a follow-up discipleship course called Your Walk with Jesus. More than 10,000 people have engaged with Christianity Explained resources online in the past 12 months, and requests for materials keep coming in—from Australia and beyond. Now, the next phase is here. In 2025, we will begin translating Christianity Explained into other languages—starting with Luganda, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, and Nepalese. There are communities in each of these countries ready and waiting to distribute and use these tools to explain the life-changing message of Jesus. Your support will help make this possible.

Our Youth Ministry continues to be a place of connection, laughter, and life-changing encounters with Jesus.
Each year, the culmination of the youth calendar is our Youth Camp—a weekend where teenagers step away from routine, unplug from distractions, and discover more about themselves, each other, and God.
Many of our young people only have limited church experience outside of Friday nights at Youth. Camp gives us space to share the love and message of Jesus in a deeper, more personal way.
Your Above & Beyond gift will help cover transport, accommodation, and resources—ensuring that cost is never a barrier for a teenager wanting to attend.
