Laural has been married to David for 42 years. She is a mother of four adult kids and is now also a Nanna. Together with her husband, Laural worked in pastoral ministry in the Wesleyan Methodist church in Queensland for 22 years prior to coming to HumeRidge. Her original profession was primary school teaching, and after finishing pastoral ministry, she worked in various roles in Child Safety for 13 years.
Laural works in pastoral care two days a week at Humeridge, where she feels privileged to visit with and pray for mainly the older people of our church. When she isn’t at HumeRidge she is teaching her home-schooled grandchildren one day a week or volunteering in aged care and with Pyjama Angels.
