I grew up on Mt Tamborinein in a large Christian family and began my career in the automotive industry, eventually taking over the family business. In 1996, I married mywonderful wife, Terrena. We have three children—Izaac (married to Teagan), Zoe, and Ivy—and in 2024, we were blessed with our first grandchild, Willow.
In 2004, I recommitted my life to Christ, which led me to pursue further study in ministry. I completed an Advanced Diploma in Christian Ministry and Theology in 2008 and was accredited as a Minister with Queensland Baptists. Our family moved to Townsville in 2009 to pastor a newly planted church, and I later served as Senior Pastor of the original Baptist Church in Townsville.
Since 2018, I’ve been serving with Churches of Christ as a Regional Engagement Partner. I’ve also had the privilege of contributing to various boards, including the Queensland Baptists state leadership team, and have been active in community service as a volunteer firefighter and community centre president. I enjoy most sports, motorcycles, outdoors and time with family.
I’m passionate about helping people discover their God-given purpose and love to see churches be community focused.
