Abi has been attending HumeRidge since 2019 where she started attending youth group and leading a clump of Grade 4 girls at Stumpy’s (who are now in Grade 11 at youth!).
In 2022, she completed the internship course at HumeRidge and received a Diploma in Leadership and Management Certificate IV in Ministry and Theology.
Abi is involved in planning and helping at our youth programs, and Sunday Kids Church, running this alongside Bagel. She has a deep passion for sharing Christ’s love with kids and teenagers and is very excited to do this more in her role as a Kids and Youth worker.
Outside of work Abi is married to Matt Shepherd who will often be found behind the camera on Sunday’s or driving a bus for HumeRidge. In their free time they both love a good board game!
