HumeRidge Church of Christ is a multi-purpose air-conditioned facility incorporating a variety of areas. The facility is wheelchair friendly and has a hearing aid loop in the main auditorium for the hearing impaired.
We offer various spaces within our facility for hire, and each space is detailed below.
The large 1500 seat auditorium has wide aisles and fixed number seating, which we hire to groups of up to 1300 persons. This auditorium is used for many purposes including worship, conferences, award ceremonies, presentations, award ceremonies, graduations, performances, dance concerts, movies and musical concerts.
It has a full-size stage area with professional sound, video and lighting systems, grand piano and drumkit. The stage is accessible from the front, backstage area or via either of the two front wing ramps. Video may be viewed on either the front or mid of stage screens or on the rear 14m x 6m cyc curtain. There are drawable front, middle and rear of stage curtains and also a rear of stage bar to hang your backdrop.
There are two small offstage dressing rooms adjacent to the back stage toilets as well as a larger room than can be used as a gowning room or larger dressing room. This room is equipped with live sound and video link from stage and has access to backstage, the auditorium, foyer and toilets.
The 250 seat Chapel auditorium is equipped with professional audio, lighting and video projection and can be used for small productions, conferences, weddings or a casual area for meetings around individual tables. The carpeted stage is accessible from the front or rear. There is a concertina wall between the Chapel and Activities Hall which creates two separate rooms. This is beneficial as one room can be used for a conference and the other can be used for morning tea, lunch or stalls and stands. The concertina wall can be also be opened up and used for larger gatherings and expos.
Chats Cafe foyer is designed for casual meetings, or celebrations over coffee and finger food. Chats has cafe seating for 100, ample room for displays and is located between the two auditoriums. The Chats Cafe Foyer is available to hire for refreshments before, during or after your presentation or as a stand alone venue.
The Activities hall is able to seat around 100 people. This room is equipped with sound amplification and video projection. With a servery attached it is an ideal room for larger meetings or casual groups that would like room to move around, expos etc.
HumeRidge also offer meeting rooms of different sizes and layouts, with varying equipment such as chairs, meeting tables, mini kitchenettes, projector, screens, Apple TV and whiteboards. These rooms range in size, and can cater for 15 – 50 people.
The recently renovated indoor sports court is ideal for Basketball, Indoor Soccer, Futsul and many other soft floor sports. The adjacent hall (Youth Hall) is suitable for small meetings, games, movies, and activities of most kinds. Often groups also request our extensive grassed outdoor areas to complement their indoor activity.
All this is within easy access from our large private sealed carpark offering over 240 carparks, with extra parking available on our grassed area at the top of our block. Wet weather drop-off through the roofed portico is available for guests using the auditoriums, Chats cafe or chapel areas. The carpark is fully lit and is user friendly catering for mobility or visually impaired.
